Al-haj Mohammad Mosaddak Ali is a Bangladeshi citizen born on April 07, 1960. He was an elected Member of Parliament and was appointed as political advisor to former Prime Minister of Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh . He started business in the mid eighties establishing his own securities company. Since early days he has gone from strength to strength and has reached the pinnacle of success being the Chairman of one of the largest private sector Banks in the country as well as many industries & business establishment. He has industrial investments include a joint venture with China for manufacturing ceramics, Steel fabrication manufacturing company, Health Care Consumer Products manufacturing company, and one of the most dynamic Television Broadcasting Companies in Bangladesh. Other interests include major share holdings in a verity of financial institutions and licenses as well as franchises. He has been responsible to build special relationships between the government and the private sector, investing in new and highly potential industrial sectors, and introducing new products and services to local industries. He has played an important role in the development of the Bangladesh Capital Markets and has financed breakthrough projects in the insurance sector. His work has been cross-sectoral; in both Government and private sectors, with investors and issuers. On numerous occasions he has been selected by the Government to represent the Country and official member of delegations led by the honorable former Prime Minister during foreign investment promotion tours.
